Welcome to
Kid Dreamin Farms, situated in rural south-central Ohio.
In December of 2005, I saw my
first Nigerian Dwarf kids. My friend wanted to get some
goats, so we decided to go into partnership on some goats.
We purchased our first doeling in February of 2006, a few more
in March, and just kept going from there. I love these
sweet little clowns - they keep us smiling! Since then
we have separated the herd and each have our own Nigerian
Dwarf herd.
Overall herd health is very
important here, and our last herd test (CAE) was in 2006.
A whole herd test for CAE is scheduled for summer, 2010 with
random testing for CL and Johnes. Any new goat brought
onto the property is quarantined until tested clear.
I am always looking to improve
my herd and have exceptional goats that have strong dairy
genetics and come from some terrific bloodlines. We are
breeding to produce good show-quality goats that are
productive milkers, and strive for some of the icing on the
cake - blue eyes and polled!
In the last few years I have
expanded and gotten into Mini-Manchas. Please be sure to
check them out at
